Interpretive Programs

​The Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program (BCSTCP) promotes sea turtle biology, ecology, and conservation education through outreach events. Educational presentations about sea turtles are given at schools, festivals, public events, summer camps, and other gatherings throughout the year. ​Hatchling Release Progr​ams​

​​The BCSTCP and Anne Kolb Nature Center offer public hatchling release programs throughout the summer (July-August).​ Please note that participants are NOT PERMITTED to touch the hatchlings during these programs. Tickets for the programs are usually available starting in May or June.

Turtle Walk Programs

​Some local organizations offer nighttime guided sea turtle walks which give participants the chance to safely observe a nesting turtle on the beach. Reservations for these programs are required for attendance due to their limited capacity and popularity.
