WHAT: BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County 4-H's Broward Science Day is a one-day mini-camp that allows children ages 5 to 10 to learn, explore, and have fun with a parent or guardian. Children will participate in fun experiments, activities, and craft projects led by teen and adult 4-H volunteers and staff. Activities will highlight different science-based 4-H project areas. Lunch is included and participants must be accompanied by an adult.

WHEN: Saturday, May 14th, 10AM-3PM

 

WHO: For ages 5-10 accompanied by an adult. 

 

HOW: Fee: $20/child; parents may preorder lunch for an additional $7. Preregistration (required) is available through EventBrite.com. The deadline is May 8th.

About the Parks and Recreation Division

Founded in February 1956 and accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies, Broward County Parks and Recreation Division manages almost 6,500 acres, encompassing nearly 50 regional parks and nature centers, neighborhood parks, and natural areas at various stages of development.
