BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Did you know that Tuesdays are the best days to look for a job? According to Monster.com, "Tuesday is not only the best day out of the week for job seekers to apply for a job, but it's also the day most people are hired." The career Website cites a study by the hiring platform SmartRecruiters suggesting that "Tuesday is where most of the action happens." Potential job candidates are advised to spend the weekend polishing up their resumes and lining up references in order to be prepared when new postings go up at the beginning of the week, specifically on Tuesdays.

That's why Roosevelt Gardens Park, a Broward Municipal Services District neighborhood park, is launching a new program called Job-Search Tuesdays. Starting in October, free assistance will be offered to ages 18 and up through the park's computer lab. Park staff will help job hunters refine their job searches and complete and file applications.
