BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD) is updating the Master Plan for Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The Master Plan is a comprehensive study that identifies improvements proposed for the airport and is designed to establish a roadmap for incremental development to meet future aviation demand.

BCAD is working with its consultant, Ricondo, for technical support. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) are assisting with funding for the plan.

The Master Planning process encourages citizen participation. A public open house workshop will be held to provide information on the study process, forecasts of activity, facility requirements, preliminary development and airport improvement alternatives.

Representatives from the Aviation Department and the consultant team will be available to answer questions and receive comments on the ongoing Master Planning analyses and tasks completed to date.

FLL Master Plan Open House:

Date: Thursday, February 15, 2018
Time: 6 - 8:30 PM
Where: Anne Kolb Nature Center - Mangrove Hall - 751 Sheridan Street, Hollywood, FL 33019
