Native Plant Sale Scheduled for T.Y. Park

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – For many years, savvy home landscapers have looked to Broward County Parks for guidance on what to put into the ground and what to do with it once it’s planted. Whenever possible, we emphasize the importance of plants native to South Florida for use in home landscape design. Toward that end, we regularly welcome nurseries and other vendors into our parks to sell native plants. The next such event will be a Native Plant Sale, from 3 to 6PM on Sunday, April 7th, at T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park, 3300 N Park Rd., Hollywood 33021; 954-357-8811).

For further information, call T.Y. at 954-357-8811. The park’s regular weekend gate fee ($1.50/person, ages 5 and under free) will be in effect.
