Parks Division Announces Public Participation Forum
  
  

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – The Parks and Recreation Division invites the public to a Public Participation Forum, starting at 7PM on Thursday, March 5th, at Roosevelt Gardens Park (2841 NW 11th St., Fort Lauderdale 33311; 954-357-8700) in the Broward Municipal Services District. This free meeting is the public’s opportunity to provide suggestions, voice concerns, and ask questions about recreational needs in the Broward County park system. The forum will be preceded by a special meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board at 6PM. (The advisory board’s regular meetings are on designated Fridays at 7:30AM.)

Any individual who wishes to address the Parks Advisory Board on any subject within the scope of the Board’s authority, must fill out and turn in a speaker form (available on site) prior to the meeting. Speakers will be asked to include their name, address, telephone number, and reason for discussion. Depending on the number of comments, speakers will be allowed between two to three minutes to present concerns before the Board.

DIRECTIONS: From I-95, exit at Sunrise Boulevard and go west to NW 28th Avenue. Turn north (right) on NW 28th Avenue and go two blocks to NW 11th Street. Turn west (left) on NW 11th Street. The entrance to the park will be on your right.
