Animal Care Hosts Low-Cost Rabies Clinic this Weekend

BROWARD COUNTY, FL -- Animal Care Division will host a low-cost Rabies Clinic in Oakland Park at the Collins Community Center, 3900 NE 3rd Ave. on Saturday, August 27, from 9AM to 2PM. 

The cost for a rabies vaccination and Broward County Pet Registration Tag is:  

  • $25 if your pet is spayed or neutered 
  • $35 if your pet is not spayed or neutered

Microchips, with registration, will be available for free. A microchip is a permanent form of identification. Once the chip is registered, pets are safeguarded in case they are lost or stolen. If your pet has already received a current rabies vaccination and license tag, please bring a copy of the rabies certificate with you to the event.

You must be a Broward County resident to attend. No appointment is necessary. Customers are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. All dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in carriers. No cash or checks please; only debit and credit cards will be accepted.
