BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Animal Care will now be
giving away free behavioral training courses with each dog adoption, courtesy
of GoodPup, the number one dog training app that has trained more than 6,500
dogs.
Anyone who adopts a pet from Animal Care will be able to
access GoodPup's virtual training for a one-on-one individualized course with a
certified trainer. The exclusive offer includes a free week of training and 20%
off additional lessons.
"We want pets to start off with their best paw forward when
they are getting used to living in a new home," said Animal Care Director Emily
Wood. "Using positive training methods, such as the ones GoodPup provides,
allows you to establish good communication with your new family member so that
you can create a routine and build a deeper bond with your new pet."
GoodPup offers training for dogs of all ages and includes
potty training, basic cues like sit, stay, leave, as well as training to avoid
bad behavior like begging, barking and jumping. The trainers will also teach
you the basics of dog nutrition.
