BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Delaware North, a global hospitality and entertainment
company in partnership with the Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD),
celebrated the official grand opening of casual-dining seafood restaurant
Bonefish Grill at Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International
Airport (FLL) on Thursday, November 2, 2023. It's the first-ever Bonefish Grill
to open inside a U.S. airport, marking another recent concession milestone for
Delaware North and BCAD.
The 115-seat restaurant is
located post-security in Terminal 3 along the connector walkway between
Concourses E and F. The 4,500-square-foot airport outpost of the popular
national brand is situated next door to The Market on Las Olas, which opened in
August as the first location in a Florida airport to feature Amazon's
checkout-free shopping platform.
"We have been eagerly
awaiting the debut of Bonefish Grill at FLL as part of the final phase of new
concessions to open in our multiyear Terminal 3 modernization program, and the
wait was worth it," FLL CEO/Director of Aviation Mark Gale said. "It
simply looks great, and the restaurant's attractive décor, stunning centerpiece
bar, airfield views, and seafood-themed menu are a welcomed addition to the
airport's offerings. Travelers are going to love it."
The chef-inspired menu at
Bonefish Grill includes options for children, breakfast, lunch, and dinner,
along with a full bar that features beer, wine, and spirits.
"The debut of
Bonefish Grill adds another excellent full-service dining option," said
Eric Haseman, director of operations for Delaware North Travel in Florida.
"This is a momentous time for us, with the opening of three new outlets in
recent months and more on the horizon."
In addition to The Market
on Las Olas, Delaware North also introduced the Topo Chico Hard Seltzer Cantina
in Terminal 3, Concourse E, in late September. The 20-seat concept offers a
variety of Topo Chico's hard seltzers, along with beer, wine, and cocktails.
Delaware
North is in preparation for the launch of a Terminal 3 food court featuring a
blend of national and local fast-casual brands. The completion of this
three-concept food court, anticipated in early 2024, marks the culmination of
Delaware North's 26-unit foodservice program at FLL.
