PUBLIC ADVISORY - Broward Boulevard to be Closed Continuously Between NW 7th Ave and NE 3rd Ave


BROWARD COUNTY, FL - If you have business with Broward County and need to get to the Governmental Center, 115 S Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, be advised - you won't be able to approach the building from eastbound Broward Boulevard. This includes anyone doing business with the County, Supervisor of Elections, Property Appraiser, and Records, Taxes, and Treasury. This will also affect access to the main Library downtown and to the Broward County Courthouse.

All Aboard Florida is closing Broward Boulevard at the FEC Railroad tracks CONTINUOUSLY from Wednesday, July 22 at 10PM until Monday, July 27 at 5AM. Work is being done to install a new railroad track panel and 120 feet of new track parallel to the existing track to keep freight rail operations going as All Aboard Florida constructs a new 60,000-square foot Fort Lauderdale station.

Closure of Broward Boulevard east and westbound at the FEC Railroad tracks

WHERE:
Eastbound Broward Boulevard:
Traffic will be reduced to one right lane approaching SW 7th Ave. All traffic must U-turn at the point of closure.
Westbound Broward Boulevard: Traffic will be reduced to one right lane approaching NE 3rd Ave. All traffic will U-turn at Brickell Ave.

WHEN: Continously
from Wednesday, July 22 at 10PM until Monday, July 27 at 5AM.

Other intersections in downtown Fort Lauderdale will be closed as the project progresses. N Andrews Avenue will be closed continuously Monday, July 27 at 5AM until Friday, July 31 at Noon.
