Scholarship Opportunity for Artists to Attend National Conference

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward-resident visual artists are invited to attend an application workshop to learn how to apply for tuition support to attend the upcoming Art-Business Conference Fort Lauderdale, presented by The Clark Hulings Fund for Visual Artists on February 1st and 2nd at ArtServe.

WORKSHOP OPTION 2

WHEN:          Thursday, December 13th at 6PM

WHERE:        Bailey Contemporary Arts (BaCA)
                       NE 1 St.
                       Pompano Beach

 

Tuition Support: At this two-day art-business summit artists will take an in-person deep dive into the business side of their practice. Seating is limited. Registration fee after January 1, 2019 is $395. If selected, the Broward artist will receive a $300 scholarship and will be required to pay only $95 to attend. 

Who may apply: An individual Broward-based practicing professional visual artist, who is at least eighteen (18) years old or older, residing in Broward County and who has lived continuously in Broward County for the immediate twelve (12) consecutive months prior to filing date of the application.

Scholarship application deadline: December 28, 2018. 

The Clark Hulings Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that equips visual artists to be self-sustaining entrepreneurs. They offer comprehensive art-business learning resources that educate, challenge and support entrepreneurial artists who want to transform their dreams into reality. Their team of experts applies its extensive knowledge and experience in business strategy, instructional design, programming, journalism, digital reporting, and data science to create professional-grade programming on the business of art.
