- A full day of park programs to benefit United Way -

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – There are more than 60,000 miles of trails in the United States just waiting to be hiked, so get out there and hike – some of those trails are right here in South Florida, usually in parks. In support of the fun and recreation and exercise provided by hiking, Broward County Parks is participating in National Take a Hike Day, Sunday, November 17th, and raising funds for United Way of Broward County at the same time.

All these hourlong events are open to all ages. A minimum $1 donation per person per hike is recommended, with all proceeds benefiting United Way.
