BROWARD COUNTY, FL -  The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be upgrading the drainage system and repairing existing sidewalks and curb ramps along the southbound lanes of S Andrews Avenue, between SE 27th Street and SE 30th Street in Fort Lauderdale.  Construction is expected to begin Monday, August 4, 2014 and will conclude on or before September 12, 2014, barring any unforeseen conditions or weather delays.

DESCRIPTION: Aged drainage pipes will be replaced with new, larger ones. Existing sidewalks and curb ramps on the west side of S Andrews Avenue will be repaired.

PROJECT LIMITS: S Andrews Avenue between SE 27th Street and SE 30th Street.

WHEN: Start Date: August 4, 2014
             Completion Date: September 12, 2014

TRAFFIC: During construction, traffic on the southbound lanes of S Andrews Avenue will be temporarily restricted to one lane, and driveway access to the properties on the west side of
S Andrews Avenue may be restricted for very short periods of time.  Northbound lanes will not be affected during construction.
