The celebration is one of the sanctioned events for Broward 100, the County’s yearlong centennial festivities, and will be held at the Hallandale Beach Cultural Community Center, located at 410 SE 3rd Street in Hallandale Beach. The public is welcome at this free event.

Pioneer Day is an opportunity for individuals to be recognized for contributions they have made to their communities.  This 42nd annual celebration will recognize 32 men and women who have been selected as Broward County Pioneers. They will join a distinguished group of over 2,000 other Pioneers that have been honored since the beginning of the program in 1972.
