BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The National Weather Service forecasts low temperatures, including wind chill, in the mid-40s in the Broward metro areas overnight this Friday and Saturday night.

As a result, Broward County has declared a multi-night Cold Weather Emergency from 6:30PM Friday night, February 13th, through 7AM Saturday morning, February 14th, and from 6:30PM Saturday night, February 14, through 7AM Sunday morning, February 15th.

People experiencing homelessness are advised to report to the following locations (map attached) no later than 6:30PM on Friday night and 6:30PM on Saturday night for transportation or access to special cold night shelters:

Pompano Beach 
 Pompano Beach City Hall (Pickup Location Only)
 100 W. Atlantic Blvd. (Southeast Corner)

 The Salvation Army (Shelter and Pickup Location)

Be advised however, if the weather forecast changes to predict warmer or colder conditions, cold weather emergency shelter nights may be canceled or extended.
