BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The planned Andrews Avenue Bridge closure to replace the old electrical and mechanical system, which began on September 8th, has been completed.  Andrews Avenue Bridge is now open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

One lane in each direction across the bridge will remain closed to vehicular traffic. Pedestrians are to utilize the temporary walkway on the west side of the bridge while rehabilitation of the south side pedestrian ramp and the bridge control tower continues. Boat traffic continues to be minimally impacted by the work on the bridge. For more information, visit the Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division website.
