BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The terminals will come alive with music, laughter, and children as Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), in partnership with Broward County Public Schools (BCPS), host the 30th Annual Winter Festival of Music.

The music festival begins Monday, December 11 and continues through Friday, December 15, 2017. The performances take place from 9AM to Noon in all four terminals and the Rental Car Center. This year, for the first time, carolers will perform beyond the security checkpoint to entertain passengers in the gate hold areas.

More than 1,700 children from 34 schools in Broward County elementary, middle and high schools will perform throughout the week. The musical talent will include bands, orchestras, choirs, roaming carolers, and dancers.

"It is an honor and privilege to partner with BCPS to bring these talented young performers to share their enthusiasm with our guests as they travel through FLL," said Mark E. Gale, CEO/Director of Aviation. "This is a joyful time of year, and we hope Winter Festival of Music brings a smile to everyone during the weeklong festivities."

This annual event helps to celebrate our student musicians performing in groups and to make travel more enjoyable and festive for passengers during the busy holiday season. We often see passengers participating by singing along and dancing. We welcome you to share your experience with us on Twitter and Facebook.
