County Offers Convenient Way to Pay Property Taxes
  
- Outdoor express drop-off service for tax payment available November 25 -
  

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Broward County’s Tax Collector’s Office will offer outdoor Tax Express drop-off service for property tax payments on Wednesday, November 25 from 10AM to 4PM outside the west entrance of the County’s Main Governmental Center Annex Building, 115 S. Andrews Ave., in Fort Lauderdale.

The west entrance of Broward County’s Main Governmental Center can be accessed from the parking lot on Brickell Ave., on the west side of the Main Governmental Center. There will be signs to the Tax Express drop-off table, where County staff wearing official shirts and badges, will assist residents to collect tax payments by check only. Please make sure to bring your current tax bill. Other payment methods can be found at Broward.org/RecordsTaxesTreasury.

To submit tax payments by the Tax Express drop-off service November 25:

  • Payments must be made by check only (personal or certified), no cash or credit card payments can be made at the Tax Express drop-off. All checks must be in U.S. funds, issued by a U.S. bank.    
  • Payments must be for current 2020 tax bills only. No delinquent tax payments can be accepted.
  • You must have your 2020 tax bill with you.
  • Only full payment of the March amount due will be accepted. No partial payments can be accepted.
  • Broward County staff will be following CDC guidelines, including the use of facial coverings for this service, and ask that customers visiting the Main Governmental Center to follow the COVID-19 precautionary measures for in-person services found at Broward.org/Coronavirus.

For the fastest and most convenient way to pay your tax bill, visit broward.county-taxes.com to make an online payment of your 2020 tax bill by eCheck, credit or debit card. Payments by eCheck are free; payments by credit or debit card are charged an online convenience fee.

County tax payments can also be made at any Wells Fargo Bank in Broward County with a copy of your tax bill. All property taxes not paid by April 1, 2021 become delinquent and subject to additional interest and fees.
