FLL's North Runway Will Close Temporarily for Repairs

BROWARD COUNTY, FL The North Runway at Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport will close for three consecutive mornings to complete repairs from the recent aircraft incident.

The closures will occur every morning from 12:01-6AM on:

Wednesday, November 9th.
Thursday, November 10th.
Friday, November 11th.

During these closure periods, arriving and departing flights will use the South Runway. If there is inclement weather, the work will be postponed and additional days added to the end of the work week.

The contractor will remove damaged asphalt on the shoulder of the North Runway and Taxiway A4, repave the area, and stripe.
