BROWARD COUNTY, FL - In order to prepare for the relocation of staff and pets, the old Broward County Animal Care and Adoption center, located at 1870 SW 39th Street, Fort Lauderdale. will CLOSE at 4PM, Thursday, November 10th. The shelter will also be CLOSED on Friday, November 11th, in honor of Veterans Day.

A special "Moving Sale" adoption promotion, which waives adoption fees for pets, will continue this Saturday and  Sunday, November 12 -13 at the old facility. The last day the old shelter will be open is November 13th.

The new Broward County Animal Care Adoption Center, located at 2400 SW 42nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, will open on Tuesday, November 15th at 11AM.
