FLL Runways to Close Various Times this Week for Routine Maintenance

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Airfield maintenance work at Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will require nighttime closures of the South and North Runways beginning Sunday, December 4, 2016.

The South Runway (10R-28L) will close from 10:30 PM to 6 AM  on the following days:

  • Sunday, December 4th
  • Monday, December 5th

During these closures, arriving and departing flights will use the North Runway.

The North Runway (10L-28R) will close from 12:01AM to 6:00AM on the following days:

  • Wednesday, December 7th
  • Thursday, December 8th
  • Friday, December 9th

During these closures, arrival and departure flights will use the South Runway.
