BROWARD COUNTY, FL -Broward County Water and Wastewater Services has been named first place winner of the 2016 Division 6 Outstanding Distribution System award by the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA). The award was presented at a recent conference in Orlando.

The committee also reviewed other areas including customer service, public outreach efforts and training.

This prestigious award is a well-deserved recognition of the division's continual effort to provide the highest level of professionalism and service," said Mark Darmanin, Director of the Water and Wastewater Operations Division. "Our employees' hard work, knowledge, experience and dedication placed us in a position to win the award. This is hopefully the next step towards becoming the best utility in the state."
