BROWARD COUNTY, FL -  In honor of Veterans Day, Broward County Animal Care and Adoption will feature special adoption fees on all adoptable dogs and cats. Those fees will be waived for all veterans presenting military identification.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 7th-9th, residents who adopt a dog will be treated to special "V for Victory" adoption fees on select pets. Feline lovers can double the fun by adopting two felines for $12 (or one cat for $12). As a special bonus, while supplies last during the special weekend promotion, each lucky pet selected for adoption will be sent home with special pet care items.

The "V for Victory" special is available at the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center, 1870 SW 39th St.,
Fort Lauderdale. Hours for adoption are Friday, 11AM to 6PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 11AM to 4PM. The Animal Care Adoption Center is closed on Mondays and will also be closed Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.

All adoption fees include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, Broward County pet registration tag and microchip — a value of more than $200.
