BROWARD COUNTY, FL -  The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division (HBMD) has begun repaving a section of East Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. The project will be completed by January 4, 2015, barring unforeseen conditions or weather delays. The work is being done over the school holiday break to prevent conflicts with school operations.

DESCRIPTION: Repaving and resurfacing of East Broward Boulevard between Federal Highway (US 1) and North Victoria Park Road.

WHEN: Start Date: December 15, 2014
             Completion Date: On or before January 4, 2015
             6PM to 6AM

TRAFFIC:  During construction along East Broward Boulevard, from Federal Highway (US 1) to NE 15th Avenue, one lane of traffic in each direction will remain open to motorists. Construction in the segment east of NE 15th Avenue will be done with one lane of traffic open. Sidewalks will be accessible to pedestrians at all times during construction. Detour signs will guide motorists.
