BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division (HBMD) will be performing drainage improvements along the southbound lanes of S Andrews Avenue between SE 30th Street and SE 32nd Street in Fort Lauderdale. The roadway drainage system will be upgraded to alleviate flooding, and sidewalks and curb ramps on the west side of the street that are not complaint with the Americans with Disabilities Act will be replaced. Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, January 19, 2015 and is expected to be completed on or before March 16, 2015, barring unforeseen conditions or weather delays.

DESCRIPTION: Drainage improvements to alleviate flooding. Existing sidewalks and curb ramps on the west side of S Andrews Avenue will be replaced

PROJECT LIMITS: S Andrews Avenue between SE 30th Street and SE 32nd Street

WHEN: Start Date: January 19, 2015 
             Completion Date: On or before March 16, 2015

TRAFFIC: Traffic on the southbound lanes of S Andrews Avenue will be temporarily restricted to one lane for the duration of the project. Driveway access to properties on the west side of the street may be restricted for very short periods of time. Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane for approximately two weeks.
