WHAT:
The camera is already in place in the Wilton Manors Commissioner Chambers for the marriage ceremonies of 50 same-sex couples on Saturday, February 14, who are expected to commemorate the celebration of marriage equality and Broward County's centennial. This important occasion and Broward 100, the County's 100^th  anniversary will be overseen by Wilton Manors Mayor Gary Resnick and Commissioner Justin Flippen, who will serve as officiant. Members of the Wilton Manors City Commission will be there to offer support, serve as witnesses and toast the newlyweds at a reception following each of the ceremonies.

Live Streaming of the event will be available for friends and family of the 50 couples, with groups of couples being wed every 30 minutes beginning at 4:30PM with the last ceremony at 6PM. Following each ceremony, an elegant reception with light refreshments for newlyweds will be held at the Hagen Park Community Center. Both the ceremonies and the reception are FREE.

The City of Wilton Manors and Broward 100 - Celebrating the Art of Community will hold FREE marriage ceremonies for 50 couples at Wilton Manors City Hall. Officials in attendance will include Mayor Gary Resnick and Vice Mayor Scott Newton; Wilton Manors Commissioners Julie A. Carson, Justin Flippen and Tom Green; and Judge Lisa Porter.
