BROWARD COUNTY, FL - It was so nice, they're doing it twice!  The Easter Bunny was such a hit last year, he's decided to stop by and visit his canine fans again at Broward County's Doggie Egg Hunt Extravaganza, Saturday, March 28th, at Easterlin Park, 1000 N.W. 38th Street, Oakland Park, from 10AM to Noon.

The special Egg Hunt, hosted by Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Division in partnership with the Parks and Recreation Division, will encourage dogs to use their noses to "sniff" out special egg-shaped biscuits, courtesy of Pet Supermarket stores. The dogs that find the most "eggs" will win special Easter gift baskets.

Easter Eggs aren't the only treasures to be found, because this Egg Hunt will also feature adoptable dogs that are searching for forever homes. Special event pricing makes it easier than ever to adopt a new best friend and take them home that day.

Partying with the Easter Bunny also helps other shelter dogs. A portion of every $5 ticket purchased for your dog to participate in the Egg Hunt will be donated to the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Division. All dogs must be on a leash at all times and have a current rabies vaccination and Broward County Pet Registration tag to participate. In addition, the park's regular entrance fee of $1.50 will apply.
