BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County is once again tops in the nation when it comes to its public service campaigns. The County has won 28 awards in the 2015 National Association of County Information Officers (NACIO) Awards of Excellence competition, more than any other locality in the country.

NACIO, an affiliate of the National Association of Counties with members from more than 3,000 counties, parishes, and boroughs across the United States, holds the annual Awards of Excellence competition to honor the best public information and community outreach efforts by local governments in a variety of categories. Broward County received a total of 28 awards - two Best of Class, five Superior, eleven Excellent, and ten Meritorious.
