BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County and Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact partners will be presenting the 7th Annual Southeast Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit in Key West from December 1 - 3, 2015. Monroe County, the City of Key West, the City of Marathon, and the Village of Islamorada are co-hosts of this year's Summit, entitled "Charting the Course."

The Summit provides a powerful and effective forum for facilitating climate-related collaboration and knowledge sharing. The event attracts innovative thinkers and leaders, locally and internationally, from business, government, academia, and the non-profit community to exchange ideas and dialogue at panel discussions and networking breaks.

The annual Summit is an event of the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact, a regional partnership between Broward, Monroe, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties, their municipalities and other partners.  The Compact partners have been working together since 2009 to develop strategies to adapt to the impacts of Southeast Florida's changing climate, such as sea level rise, and to reduce its causes.

The Summit will be held at the Casa Marina Resort in Key West. To register for the Summit, please visit
