BROWARD COUNTY, FL - After all the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving cooking and Black Friday shopping, how about taking some time to give a pet a "Home for the Holiday" by adopting a dog or cat from Broward County Animal Care on Saturday, November 28th.
The Animal Care Adoption Center, 1870 SW 39th St., Fort Lauderdale, will open early at 9:30AM with "Kennel Buster" specials--including waived adoption fees and deposits--available on all dogs and cats from 9:30-10:30AM.
Following the "Kennel Buster" deals, from 10:30AM - 3:30PM, residents can adopt a dog for a $5 fee. Cat lovers can adopt a cat/kitten for $5 each, or 2 cats/kittens for $5. The standard $20 non-refundable deposit will apply to hold a lost/stray pet.
All adoptions include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, Broward County rabies registration tag and microchip - a value of more than $200.
