BROWARD COUNTY, FL - FastTrac® NewVenture™ participants has entered the midway point of their formalized training to make their business idea a reality. These 15 participants were selected through a competitive application process which is free and open to Broward County residents. This 10-session workshop is designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs in the early stages of business development.  FastTrac® NewVenture™ teaches entrepreneurs how to identify and meet market needs, as well as access human, business and financial resources. The course also facilitates networking between entrepreneurs and professionals.  All sessions are held at the Innovation Hub at Broward College.

With the guidance of successful entrepreneurs and a supportive peer community, FastTrac® NewVenture™ is helping participants refine their business concept, identify the components of a strong business plan, and access the appropriate resources to complete their launch. The benefits of FastTrac® NewVenture™ will last long after the workshop has ended and into their role as a start-up business owner.

Upon completion of NewVenture™, participants' completed business plans will be evaluated and seed money may be distributed to the top three business plans.  All students will receive a certificate of completion.
