Campgrounds at Three County Parks Have Summer Camping Specials

WHAT: BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Take advantage of summer camping specials at three of our parks with campgrounds. From May 1st through September 5th (Labor Day), T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park in Hollywood will offer its Find Your Getaway Special, which features $30-per-night sites seven days a week for up to four campers, with an option for two additional campers at $3 each. The four registered primary campers per party are eligible for four free admissions to the park's Castaway Island water park; additional campers pay the regular water-park admission fee.

 

The campground at T.Y. features 61 paved sites, each with 50-amp electrical service, water, sewer, a grill, and a picnic table. The air-conditioned restroom building includes hot showers and laundry facilities, and there is a dump station.

 

There are two specials at Easterlin and Quiet Waters, running from May 1st to October 31st. Both are for up to four primary campers, with two additional campers allowed for an extra $3 each per night. The Escape Special offers sites for $25 per night from Sunday through Thursday. The Family Fun Package offers $50 sites for Friday and Saturday. At Quiet Waters only, campers are eligible for $7 all-day admissions to the park's Splash Adventure water park; 20 percent off Ski Rixen USA passes or group lessons at the water-skiing facility; and 20 percent off bike rentals and 10 percent off all merchandise (excluding food) at the park's Bike America location.

 

Easterlin's 55 sites are all equipped with grills, picnic tables, and fire rings; site sites offer water and electricity only, and four sites are dry. There are also two restroom buildings with heated showers.

 

At Quiet Waters, there are 25 sites with platform tents already set up, and two sites with tepees. Each site has running water, a fire ring, a picnic table, a grill, and electricity. Restrooms and shower facilities are located throughout the campground. No RV sites are available.
