BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Residents in the Broward Municipal Services District's Washington Park neighborhood along NW 9th Street between NW 30th Avenue and NW 29th Terrace will experience construction activities underway that will increase the capacity of the existing drainage system to alleviate future flooding. Activities include installing new pipes and drainage structures, restoring deteriorated pavement and driveways and installing a check valve to the outfall pipe to prevent backflow from the North Fork New River. The estimated project cost is $175,000 and the anticipated completion date is early July, 2016.
