BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be upgrading the sidewalks and curb ramps along Riverland Road between SW 21st Street and Davie Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.

Work is scheduled to begin Monday, June 6, 2016 and will conclude on or before Friday, July 8, 2016, barring any unforeseen conditions or weather delays.

The purpose of this project is to upgrade the sidewalks and ramps to current ADA standards, repair damaged concrete and add a missing section of sidewalk.

During construction, traffic will be temporarily restricted to one lane. Drivers will be guided by flaggers. Sections of sidewalk will be temporarily closed and residential access to some driveways may be affected.

Project Manager Diana Rodriguez can be reached at 954-357-6024 or 954-691-8693. Or, you can call the Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division at 954-357-6040.

Broward County appreciates your patience as we complete this necessary road maintenance.
