WHAT: BROWARD COUNTY, FL - If you have a child between the ages of 8 and 11 who would like to explore nature this summer, Fern Forest Nature Center in Coconut Creek will offer its popular Fern Forest Nature Detectives day camp, from 9AM to noon, Monday through Friday, June 20th-24th, and again August 1st-5th. Topics vary daily and may change subject to the weather. Participants will learn about such varied habitats as a tropical hardwood hammock; a cypress maple swamp; a prairie; and oak, pine, and palm community; and ponds, creeks, and canals. The fee is $75 for the week, and payment is required at the time of registration.
