BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Airfield maintenance work at Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will require nighttime closures of the North Runway beginning Monday, July 18th for a six-day period.

The North Runway (10L-28R) will close daily from 12:01AM to 6AM beginning Monday, July 18 through Saturday, July 23, 2016. Crews will groove and paint the recently repaired asphalt, which required 30 days to cure. They will also grade the ground around the North Runway's navigational aids for safety reasons.

During these closure periods, arriving and departing flights will only use the South Runway. If there is inclement weather, the work will be postponed and additional days added to the end of the work week.
