BROWARD COUNTY, FL - In an effort to continuously enhance the quality of service experienced by residents using the Regional Consolidated Communication's System, Broward County's Office of Regional Communications and Technology (ORCAT) has launched a new customer feedback system.

A new online feedback form is now available at Broward.org/911. Residents (excluding Plantation and Coral Springs) can submit details about their experience including the location of their E-911 call, a brief description of their call experience, and provide contact information such as phone number and/or email, if they wish to be contacted about the call.

"Customer feedback is key to providing services that meet the expectations of our community. It enables us to continuously fine-tune our efforts in a timely, responsive way," said Brett Bayag, Interim Manager, Broward Office of Regional Communications & Technology.

Each submitted customer feedback form will be forwarded to ORCAT staff for review, investigation and response. ORCAT will in turn email the form to the municipality where the incident occurred-within five hours of receipt during business hours, and within five hours of the first business day following receipt during non-business hours. The results of any investigation conducted by the County and/or the system operator, Broward Sheriff's Office, will also be forwarded to the submitter and the municipality.

This fall, Broward County will automate the municipality notification process so that the forwarding of reports to the municipality will be in real time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Users will have the option of submitting their feedback through Broward County's 311 Call Center.
