Runways at FLL Close for Routine Maintenance

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Beginning Monday, September 12, routine maintenance at Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will close the North Runway and South Runway during the following  periods below:

  • The North Runway (10L-28R) will close from 12:01AM to 5:30AM from Monday, September 12, through Wednesday, September 14.

  • The South Runway (10R-28L) will close from 10:30PM to 6:00AM from Wednesday, September 14 through Friday, September 16.

Crews will perform rubber removal, painting and other maintenance activities.

During these closure periods, arriving and departing flights will use the South Runway or the North Runway.
