Temporary Closure of FLL's North Runway Scheduled for Mid-January

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Airfield work at Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will require nighttime closures to repair the North Runway beginning on Monday, January 16, 2017. The closures are necessary to make final repairs to our runway due to the aircraft incident on Friday, October 28, 2016.

The North Runway (10L-28R) will close from 12:01AM to 6:00AM on the following days:

• Monday, January 16
• Tuesday, January 17
• Wednesday, January 18
• Thursday, January 19
• Friday, January 20

During these closures, arrival and departure flights will use the South Runway.
