“This year we have 54 countries participating at FITCE, the most we’ve had to date. Together these countries do a total of over $72 billion with our trade zone, and many of these countries are have emerging economies. Seven countries are participating from Africa, which according to the Wall Street Journal, by 2050 Africa will have the world’s largest labor force with a prediction of 1.3 billion people. This is an opportunity for businesses to sell their products and services to these countries, expand their global footprint, and to grow their business through global trade. The information and access attendees will have to the global community at FITCE 2018 is invaluable” said Broward County Commissioner Dale V.C. Holness.
