BROWARD COUNTY – The Cultural Division announces a Cultural Tourism Program (CTP) Grant Application Workshop for the fiscal year 2020 funding cycle.

Application deadline is January 25, 2019.

The purpose of this grant is to use the arts as a means of promoting tourism in Broward County. All activities funded under this program must be of high artistic quality and contribute to Broward’s reputation as an attractive destination for touristsAward size is between $10,000 - $65,000.

Municipalities, agencies or political subdivisions of state government and sovereign Native American nations located in Broward County may apply. Broward-based, designated regional, not-for-profit, cultural organizations that meet eligibility requirements for funding from the Broward County Board of County Commissioners may also apply. Recent recipients have included: Broward County Film Society, City of Fort Lauderdale, Riverwalk A&E District Consortium, Stonewall Library & Archives, Inc. and Slow Burn Theatre Company, Inc.

Applicants must provide a one-to-one cash match. The program may fund exhibitions, performances and other cultural activities, including projects and festivals which contain the development of new activities and marketing to attract tourists.
