BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Get away without going far away when Quiet Waters Park (401 S Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach 33442; 954-357-5100) hosts SummerScape, from Friday, August 9th through Sunday, August 11th. This family-friendly summer campground event offers a Rent-a-Tent campsite, with 10’ x 10’ platform tent, for $80, for up to four campers.

Two more campers can be added for $5 each. At least one camper per party must be 18 or older. Check-in is at 3PM on Friday, with checkout at 1PM on Sunday. In Between, campers can enjoy a barbecue, movie, games, a boat rental at the marina, splash time in the park’s Splash Adventure water park, and Sunday-morning breakfast. Each campsite includes a fire ring, grill, water, picnic table, and access to nearby showers/restrooms.

Space is limited; preregistration and prepayment are required. A refundable security deposit of $50 is required by credit/debit card at check-in.
