BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Residents will be able to choose from TWO Rabies Clinics in August.  Both Clinics will offer a rabies vaccination and Broward County pet license for dogs and cats:

• Saturday, August 17, at the former Pompano shelter, 3100 NW 19th Terrace in Pompano Beach, 33064.  The event will take place from 9AM to NOON.

• Saturday, August 24, at the Collins Community Center, 3900 NE 3rd Avenue, in Oakland Park, 33334.  The event will take place from 9AM to 2PM.

At both events, cost for a one-year rabies vaccination and Broward County Pet Registration Tag is $25 if your pet is spayed or neutered; $35 if they are not.

Microchips, with free registration, will be available for FREE. The free microchips are funded by a grant provided by PetSmart Charities®. A microchip is a permanent form of identification. Once the chip is registered, pets are safeguarded in case they become lost or stolen. If your pet has already received a current rabies vaccination and license tag, please bring a COPY of the Rabies Certificate with you to the event.

You must be a Broward County resident to attend. No appointment is necessary and customers are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. All dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in carriers. No cash or checks please; only debit and credit cards will be accepted.
