Children Beautify FLL's Terminal 2 With a Florida Panther

- Broward County youth display their artistic side -

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD) has a soft spot for children and public art. When we heard about the opportunity to showcase some of their artwork, we pounced on the opportunity. We will be unveiling an amazing art exhibit inside Terminal 2 on Monday, August 19 at 3:30PM.

A three-way partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, the Florida Panthers and BCAD culminated with the artwork designed and executed by children ages 6-18. Their mission was to design Florida Panthers artwork combining the hockey club’s logo/brand with the team’s namesake animal, the Florida panther and its natural habitat.

The 'Territory Takeoff' art exhibit will be on display at Broward County’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), pre-security in Terminal 2. Whether you’re traveling through FLL or picking someone up at the fastest growing, large-hub airport, you’ll be able to enjoy the vibrant and colorful exhibit.

Representatives from BCAD, the Florida Panthers, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County will participate in the official unveiling.
