Although we are no longer under a Tropical Storm watch, Broward County is still responding to possible local community impacts for Hurricane Dorian, focused on assessing damages, and getting residents who came into the shelters last night safely back to their homes. Our community, including Broward County employees, has a proud history of assisting others in an emergency. Broward County will be announcing its plans for post-Dorian relief efforts for our Bahamian neighbors and other affected islands soon.
