Recycling and Garbage Collection Services to Resume in the Broward Municipal Services District

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Municipal solid waste, recycling, and bulk waste collection services will resume as normally scheduled effective Wednesday, September 4, 2019 for Broward County serving the neighborhoods of Broadview Park, Boulevard Gardens, Franklin Park, Roosevelt Gardens, and Washington Park. Collection affected by suspended services will resume on the next normally scheduled pick-up day. 


Broward County Landfill to Resume Normal Operations

Broward County Landfill, located at 7101 SW 205th Avenue (US 27 and Sheridan Street), will resume normal hours of operation on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 8AM-4PM.

The facility accepts bulk waste, construction and demolition material, yard waste, tires (rims less than 25 inches in diameter) and white goods (such as refrigerators and washing machines). Household garbage/food waste, hazardous waste (such as used oil, pesticides, pool chemicals) and gasoline are not accepted. Customers need to provide a valid driver's license.
