McNab Road Bridge Rehabilitation Over C-14 Canal Scheduled

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be performing bridge repairs and maintenance to the McNab Road Bridge over the C-14 Canal in the Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale. The project is scheduled to start on Monday November 18, 2019, and be completed on, or before, Friday April 24, 2020, barring any unforeseen conditions or weather delays.

 

Construction activities include beams repairs, expansion joint repairs, cleaning and coating concrete surfaces with Class 5 finish, and repairing undermining of rip-rap slope protection

 

In order to perform the work, periodic day lane closures on McNab Road will be necessary.

Up to two of the three lanes of traffic in both the eastbound and westbound lanes on McNab Road may be closed during non-peak traffic hours. Pedestrians will be directed to use either the north or south sidewalk when appropriate.
