BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County’s Port Everglades Department is hosting a public meeting to present the proposed 20-Year Master/Vision Plan Update on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Anne Kolb Nature Center at West Lake Park, Mangrove Hall. The park is located at 751 Sheridan Street, Hollywood, FL 33019.

Representatives from the Port and the Master/Vision Plan consultants, Bermello Ajamil & Partners, will discuss key features of the plan. They will also discuss results of the market forecasts, existing conditions, and answer questions.

Port Everglades updates its Master/Vision Plan every 2-4 years to reanalyze and update market trends, changes in the cruise, cargo shipping and petroleum industries, local planning initiatives and evolving technology to strategize for upcoming capital improvements. This in-depth analysis provides a market-driven, environmentally sound phased roadmap for guiding cost-feasible capital investments over the next 20 years.

This 20-year planning horizon will include a 5-year Master Plan for the period of fiscal years 2019 to 2023; the 10-year Vision Plan for the period of fiscal years 2024 to 2028; and the 20-year Vision Plan for the period of fiscal years 2029 to 2038.
