COVID-19 Park Operating Update #10

The following will partially reopen per Emergency Order 20-10, following CDC guidelines for social distancing, personal hygiene, and facial covering protection (nose/mouth); as well as enforceable implementation of limiting occupancy*.

On Monday, May 18th, Everglades Holiday Park*, Fort Lauderdale – will reopen private boat tours, bait/tackle/sundries sales, food concessions, and boat rentals at limited capacity. Private boat launching and fishing continue to be available.

On Tuesday, May 19th, Butterfly World* at Tradewinds Park & Stables, Coconut Creek – will reopen the butterfly museum, insect zoo, gift shop, and food court at limited capacity to members only. On Wednesday, May 20th it will be open to the public.

On Wednesday, May 20th, Quiet Waters Park, 401 S Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach 33442, will reopen for passive use and limited recreational experiences only – walking, jogging, biking, hiking, fishing, and individual basketball and disc golf. With health as our top priority, if patrons are able and it feels safe, enjoy these facilities. Visitors should follow the CDC guidelines: wash your hands; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; avoid close contact with people who are sick; put a physical distance of six feet between yourself and other people; and wear face coverings when in six feet of another person.

Employees will continue to follow CDC personal hygiene recommendations and increase sanitization of these facilities.
