Quiet Waters Park Opens as COVID-19 Testing Site

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – In collaboration with the Florida Department of Health in Broward County, City of Deerfield Beach, and BSO, Quiet Waters Park (401 S Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach 33442) is opening as a Specimen Collection COVID-19 testing site.

Quiet Waters will open operations starting Sunday, September 6th, and will be open weekly for testing Sunday through Thursday, from 8AM to 3PM. Attendees must use the park entrance on Hillsboro Boulevard.

The site is open to anyone (preregistration not required) regardless of age and whether they have symptoms or are asymptomatic. Persons being tested should bring ID, if available. Testing will be by nasal pharyngeal swab. Anyone who tests positive will be contacted by the Broward County Health Department.

Ski Rixen USA will remain open during normal operating hours. Visitors must come in the main park entrance on Powerline Road. The rest of the park will be closed to the general public until further notice.
